-a bit about myself-

I’m a Pisces sun with a Leo rising. My dad is Mexican, my mom is Peruvian, and I’m mixed race. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I spent most of my 20s in Brooklyn and had a nine month living in a hotel in New Orleans during the early years of the pandemic. You can often find me hiking or biking. A fun fact about me is that I almost didn’t graduate high school because I kept skipping class to the local bookstore. Which is to say, you can probably find me browsing a bookstore or a library too. I enjoy writing and receiving postcards, and my favorite color right now is blue. I’m currently building a collection of t-shirts and hoodies from local businesses I frequent. I also collect photography books, zines, and magazines. That collection is currently split between two states. A cheeky afternoon cocktail with fries and a funny friend is my ideal way to unwind. If I had to describe myself in two movies it would be “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Almost Famous.” There’s also a secret third movie that I’m too embarrassed to admit I’m obsessed with. I’ve traveled to six states and want to visit more, preferably by train. I enjoy making playlists and am always open to a song recommendation.
I split my time between the East and West Coast.

-a bit about my educational/work experience-

I earned my BBA in Strategic Design and Management with a minor in Social Practice from Parsons, The New School for Design. My thesis explored how social issues beget culture.

My career began at Milk Studios in 2014, where I worked at the crossroads of art, fashion, photography, and culture. Initially focused on event and exhibition production, I led projects overseeing operations, marketing, and creative strategy. My work included fashion shows, experiential and marketing activations, book launches, and photography exhibitions. In 2016, I joined Magnum Photos, where I contributed to building the New York cultural department, managed the agency’s 70th anniversary celebrations, and spearheaded international programming, exhibitions, and marketing efforts. Magnum Photos is where I developed my deep love for documentary photography and honed my photo editing skills. I also began consulting creatives on their short and long term creative projects and business endeavors. In 2019, I joined the inaugural exhibition team at Fotografiska, where I was responsible for establishing the department’s operational infrastructure and onboarding the venue for public use. I oversaw the selection and production of three immersive exhibitions before the global pandemic brought everything to a screeching halt. In 2020, I transitioned to freelancing in order to pursue a wider range of opportunities as well as my own creative projects.
